Introduction
The Certificate of Higher Education in Animation and Visual Effects is a one year programme of study which aims to introduce students to animation principles, CGI principles, design and drawing for animation, and story and film language.
Modules
All Level 1 modules of the BA (Hons) Animation and Visual Effects programme must be successfully completed for the award of the Certificate of Higher Education. The programme has been designed to give students the opportunity, upon completion, to progress directly into Level 2 of the full degree programme.

The BA (Hons) Animation and Visual Effects course aims to equip graduates for careers in animation and computer games artistry, and as 3D artists who work in visual effects, broadcast, commercial production, and visualisation.
Our graduates have secured jobs with leading practitioners across the animation industries including TT Games, Tandem Films, Lupus Films, Double Negative, Cinesite and Framestore CFC. Lincoln graduates have worked on films such as The Tiger Who Came to Tea, Ethel and Ernest, The Snowman and the Snowdog, The Jungle Book, Man of Steel, Inception, Wonder Woman, and the featurette We're Going on a Bear Hunt.
