Supporting Your Students
The University of Lincoln’s Education Liaison team offers a wide range of presentations and workshops to support students in UK schools and colleges as they consider their post-16 options. These may be delivered live virtually, physically, or pre-recorded, depending on current Government guidelines.
The topics we cover cater for students from a wide range of interests and backgrounds - including those who may not have considered university before. We aim to provide focused information, advice, and guidance about many aspects of the higher education journey.
Our team can design bespoke sessions to meet the needs of your students and arrange for our academic experts to deliver subject-specific talks or workshops on particular areas of the curriculum.

We often remember the people and the moments that inspired us to set out on a particular path in our education or career. At the University of Lincoln, our expert academic teams understand the value of sharing their knowledge, ideas, and passion for their subject with new generations still exploring their strengths, interests, and ambitions.
That is why we launched our Be Inspired outreach programme, which aims to get Key Stage 4 and 5 students excited about the world of opportunities that can be opened up by degree-level study. At its core is a suite of subject-focused workshops, seminars, and guest lectures built to fit around your timetable.
These curated, curriculum-relevant sessions are delivered by our academic subject specialists, introducing your students to university tutors and researchers in fields spanning accountancy to zoology.
Be Inspired workshops can be delivered ‘off-the-shelf’ or tailored to particular student groups, whether that’s exploring routes into the medical profession or examining the rise and fall of the Roman Empire.
By taking a deep dive into course content and exploring career paths across a diverse range of disciplines, our goal is to support schools and colleges in offering interesting, engaging, and inspiring careers advice and guidance for students, revealing what might come next after 16–18 study.
Explore our range of subject-specific bookable outreach sessions and activities from across our academic schools and colleges, all designed to support your students as they consider their post-16 options.

This might include virtual talks or case studies from University of Lincoln alumni who may have previously studied at your school or college, inspirational talks from alumni who are pursuing a career in a particular subject or field, or alumni who can talk about their experiences of higher education.
