EMPLOYERS OPEN DOORS FOR STUDENTS
Second and final year students and recent graduates are being given an opportunity to find employment by attending a careers event on Wednesday 22nd November.
The event has been organised by the Lincoln Business School, Success Matrix and the university’s careers service to provide students and graduates with an opportunity to network with many local and national employers.
In addition there will be three workshops aimed at helping students search for work either in a summer placement or graduate employment.
Students studying Accountancy, Advertising, Business, Finance, Human Resource Management, Management, Marketing, Public Relations, Sports Business Management or Tourism are being encouraged to attend the event.
David Rae, Professor of Business and Enterprise and instigator of the careers event, said: “We have had an excellent response from businesses who want to recruit or offer work experience to students and graduates. Both staff and students are looking forward to what should be a very successful afternoon.”
The careers event will be held at the Engine Shed, Brayford Pool Campus, from 2.00pm until 5.00pm. For further information contact David Rae on 01522887074, email firstname.lastname@example.org
