In his final year Edward was invited to apply for a broadcast journalist position at BBC Radio Jersey.
“I didn’t tell anyone I was going for an interview in case I didn’t do very well and to be honest the whole process was a nightmare from start to finish,” he said. “Firstly due to problems printing out my dissertation, I was late getting to the airport and missed my flight!
“The airline booked me onto another flight the next day and luckily I made it on time. The interview itself was the worst experience I’ve ever had I couldn’t believe it when they offered me the job.”
