If you work in marketing, human resources or accountancy and you want to gain a professional qualification why not see what the University of Lincoln has to offer?
The Lincoln Business School based at the university is to stage an information evening on Wednesday 1st September for anyone interested in taking a professionally recognised part-time course.
University tutors will be joined at the event by representatives from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
“If you work in marketing, human resources or accountancy and would like a professionally recognised qualification then we may well have the right course for you,” said Karen Raynes, marketing officer for the Faculty of Business and Law at the university.
Among the courses on offer are the CIMA’s new Professional Chartered Management Accounting Qualification which will be examined for the first time in May 2005.
The university also offers the MSc in Human Resource Management and the MSc in Human Resource Development which are validated by the CIPD as well as the CIM’s Professional Certificate in Marketing, Professional Diploma in Marketing and Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing.
The information evening will take place between 5pm and 7pm in the Alstom Atrium in the main academic building at Brayford Pool on Wednesday 1st September.
Enrolment will take place on Monday 6th September from 4pm until 8pm in the Alstom Atrium in the main academic building at Brayford Pool and on Thursday 16th September from 4pm until 8pm in the café-bistro in the new architecture building at Brayford Pool.
