If you enjoy being in the fresh air and are interested in a career in the countryside youíll find plenty of helpful advice at an open day at Riseholme Park this Saturday (6th March).
The University of Lincolnís School of Agriculture will be holding an open day on Saturday for anyone interested in enrolling in a further education course in land-based studies.
Courses are on offer to those who are 16 and over and include Agriculture, Animal Care, Horticulture, Horse Management, Countryside Management and Forestry and Arboriculture.
The open day will begin with registration at 9am in the conference hall at Riseholme Park and there will be a general presentation on further education courses at Riseholme Park at 9.30am.
Tutors and current students will be on hand to tell visitors about the many courses on offer and there will be a guided tour of the campus at 10am.
Individual interviews will also be arranged to allow visitors the opportunity to discuss personal cases. The event will end at around 12.30pm.
Students should note that this further education open day is running alongside a higher education open day based at the main Brayford Pool campus.
If you would like to find out about higher education (degree or HND) courses at the university please report to Brayford Pool between 10am and 3pm. Shuttle buses will be available to take students to the Cathedral Campus and Riseholme Park.
