11th November 2003
The University of Lincoln will throw open its doors to prospective students later this month.
The open day on Saturday 22nd November will be an important date for students who are making decisions about going to university.
The main event will be at Brayford Pool but visitors will also have the opportunity to take shuttle buses to view the Cathedral Campus and Riseholme Park.
Welcome talks will be given at 10am, 11.20am, 12.40pm and 2pm and there will also be talks on student support and accommodation and advice for parents.
A programme of subject-related talks will continue throughout the day and lecturers will be available for one-to-one discussions with students.
Registration for all visitors will take place in the main academic building at the Brayford Pool campus.
“From the increasing numbers of visitors we can tell that our open days are becoming more and more popular,” said a university spokesman.
“If you’re thinking of going to university next year we strongly recommend that you take the time to visit the university before you make your final decision.”
