Formerly Headmaster of Lincoln Minster School, Mark is now Headteacher of Bishop Challoner School, Kent, an all through co-educational day school. Mark supports and works closely with leadership teams in schools and colleges across the UK, offering support in all areas of school leadership, operations and innovation. Mark is also a Trustee and Non-Executive Director of the Woodcote Academy Trust and the Volleyball England Foundation.
Since 2016, Mark has been an Independent Schools Inspector. Within the inspectorate team he is a Compliance Team Inspector and Education Quality Inspector. Mark has an MBA and has previously worked in the banking sector.
Mark enjoys all sports, particularly hockey and has played hockey at international level for Ireland in the late eighties and early nineties and continues to play international hockey at Masters level.
Mark’s reason for applying and accepting a place on the Advisory Board is to work with like-minded people, to help make a positive contribution to the development of the School's offer so that the experience and qualifications gained by LIBS students fits the needs of the ever-changing business environment.
