University Preparation Courses for International Students

International and EU students who do not meet the minimum undergraduate entry requirements have the opportunity to study a preparation course at the University of Lincoln International Study Centre.

Students can apply for the International Foundation Year, a one-year course that aims to prepare you for the first year of your chosen degree. Students can choose from two subject routes:

International Foundation Year in Business and Media
International Foundation Year in Engineering and Computing

Students can also apply for the International Year One, an intensive, one-year course that is the equivalent of the first year of an undergraduate degree. Students can choose from four subject routes:

International Year One in Business and Management
International Year One in Computer Science
International Year One in Engineering
International Year One in Media Studies

Upon successful completion, students are able to progress to an undergraduate degree at the University of Lincoln.

Students with Secondary Education Certificate will require an International foundation programme to gain admission to our undergraduate programmes.
