Microcredentials short courses

Boost Your Skills with Our Flexible Short Courses

The University of Lincoln is working to deliver a range of flexible, bite-sized postgraduate courses designed to help you strengthen your professional credentials by enhancing your knowledge and developing in-demand skills in a range of specialised areas.

These easily accessible short courses, also known as microcredentials, will mostly be delivered online and will cover key practical and theoretical skills relevant in fields including business, education, science, journalism, and health and social care. You can gain 5 or 10 credits on completing each short course, which can be used to simply boost your CV or as a route into further study.

We have teamed up with global news organisation Thomson Reuters and launched the Reporting Human Rights online short course. See below for more details. We are also currently working to develop courses in subject areas such as:

Reporting Human Rights

The University of Lincoln has joined forces with global news and information services company the Thomson Reuters Foundation to produce a two-week online short course in Reporting Human Rights.

Through a series of online sessions, journalists and communications professionals can learn the skills that have made Thomson Reuters one of the world's most trusted source of news, informing professionals, policymakers, and members of the public all over the world.
