Welcome

Welcome to our Practice Placements section. Students on our Nursing, Midwifery, Physiotherapy, Paramedic Science, Social Work and Occupational Therapy courses will spend parts of their course learning in practice, putting into use the knowledge and skills they are learning at the University.

Within this section you will find useful information and resources for both students and our practice partners of the University of Lincoln.

The Student Wellbeing Centre, located on the First Floor of the Marina Building, is here to offer support, advice and
guidance with any issues or challenges that you may have during your studies. If you have any queries, please visit
Student Wellbeing or contact us.

By individually assessing academic needs, they are able to provide a tailored service for each and every student
needing extra support whilst at University. Their support to students includes concerns around disability, specific
learning difference, mental health or medical conditions, as well as anything which may cause emotional or
psychological distress.

Their team consists of counsellors, a Chaplain, wellbeing advisors as well as administrative staff, all of whom are
happy to support throughout the University journey. Any information chosen to be disclosed to their team will be
treated with the utmost respect and confidentiality.
