Chartered Management Institute Professional Recognition

CMI (Chartered Management Institute) is the only chartered professional body in the UK dedicated to promoting the highest standards in management and leadership excellence. It is the only organisation awarding Chartered Manager status, the hallmark of any professional manager, and encompasses a membership community more than 100,000. From August 2015, the following degrees offered by LIBS are dual accredited by the Chartered Management Institute which means that we have embedded the CMI’s learning outcomes within our core modules and you can achieve two qualifications for one.

Requirements

In order to be considered for the CMI Diploma you must:

  • Register and pay for the CMI qualification within 12-weeks of commencing your degree using our online store (you will be given the correct link when you begin your courses).
  • Pass all of your core modules (On rare occasions, you may be asked to do additional work by the CMI even if you have passed the University module where your University assignments may not fully demonstrate that you have met the CMI’s assessment criteria).

Fees

As many of the students on these courses have already achieved similar professional qualifications, dual accreditation is optional and students wishing to take this option will need to pay a small fee, which covers the cost of your CMI registration. Current fees are £183 for the Level 5 qualification, and £241 for the Level 7 qualification.

Upon paying this fee you will become an affiliate member of the CMI. Full details about the benefits of affiliate membership are available here: http://www.managers.org.uk/individuals/become-a-member.
