Vietnam Merit Scholarships

For 2017/18, the University of Lincoln are delighted to offer a number of £5,000 Vietnam Merit Scholarships to high achieving students from across the country. 

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must obtain: 

  • A minimum GPA of 7.0 or equivalent in their bachelor degree
  • Submission of a scholarship application / essay
  • Successfully meet the University of Lincoln’s minimum English language requirements for your course of study (this typically varies from IELTS 6.0 to 7.0 or equivalent).

Entry Requirements

  General Qualification Requirement English Language 
  • College Diploma / Associate Degree / Tot nghiep dai hoc
  • Students who have completed the Upper Secondary Certificate will need to complete a Foundation programme before applying for a Bachelor degree.

  • IB Diploma – we require between 24 and 27 IB points, depending on the programme the student wishes to apply for. 
  • GCSE English grade C or above
  • IELTS 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in each band score)

Journalism programmes require IELTS 7.0

  • Doctorate / Tien si
  • Master's Degree / Thac si (research based)
  • Master's Degree / Thac si (taught)
  • GPA of 7/10 is equivalent to a UK 2:1
  • GPA of 6.5/10 is equivalent to a UK 2:2

You will need to show details of your acceptance onto a programme, your offer letter and evidence of sufficient funding to support your education and living expenses while you are in the UK.
