When you enrol at the University of Lincoln, you will also have the opportunity to register with our on-campus GP. The University’s Health Centre is situated in the Marina building on the Brayford Pool campus. The Centre is a NHS General Medical Practice and offers medical services to students.
An experienced team of doctors and nurses can provide help when you have a specific medical problem as well as giving more general health and lifestyle advice.
You can register at the practice on enrolment day or at any time during your stay here. During the holidays, you will still be able to see your doctor back home as a temporary patient.
Monday to Friday, 8am to 6.30pm with appointments between 9am to 5pm.
An out-of-hours emergency service is available at other times.

Health services in Lincoln
There is an NHS Walk-in Centre situated in the town centre, ten to fifteen minutes’ walk from the main Brayford Pool campus. The centre is open 8am - 8pm, seven days a week including Bank Holidays (the Centre is closed on Christmas Day and Easter Sunday). No appointment is necessary and the team there can help with minor injuries and illnesses, health advice and information.
The NHS 111 service is available in Lincolnshire for you to call when you need urgent help or advice, are unable to wait for an appointment to see your GP or if you are unsure of who to call for medical help. In a life threatening emergency, you should call 999.
There are a number of pharmacies in the town centre, close to campus, where you can pick up prescriptions and buy over-the-counter medicines.
