The Institutes of Technology (IOT) have been formed across England to enhance the career and employment chances of young people and adults. The programmes that have been created at the institutes have been designed in collaboration with employers, colleges, and universities to ensure students are work-ready and to offer clear career progression. At the Lincolnshire Institute of Technology, our aim is to develop the talent and skills to drive exciting new age industries and play a role in enabling a dynamic, technology driven economy.
Institutes of Technology are unique collaborations between employers, higher, and further education providers.
They are specialising in delivering higher-level technical skills which aim to help close skills gaps and improve productivity. The Government is backing the new institutes with £170million of capital funding.
