As soon as you enrol, your personal University email account is automatically set up for you. You receive communications from the University and about your course via your University email account which can be accessed on or off campus by visiting: http://gateway.lincoln.ac.uk (the gateway to many of our online services) or direct at http://email.lincoln.ac.uk
University of Lincoln Portal
The Portal is the University’s internal website, providing access to a vast amount of School and service information. You can use the Portal to update your personal details (such as your address or telephone number). It is accessed from on or off campus by visiting: http://gateway.lincoln.ac.uk.
Blackboard is the University’s Virtual Learning Environment. Your tutors will post lecture notes and other course materials here, including your timetable. Blackboard can be accessed from on and off campus by visiting: http://gateway.lincoln.ac.uk or direct at https://blackboard.lincoln.ac.uk.
There is free Wi-Fi across the campus, including in University accommodation, in all our libraries for those who prefer to use their own laptops.
