Ways to Give
Anyone can make a difference and whether your gift is large or small, we thank you for it.
Become a Friend of the University
Friends of the University of Lincoln can be anyone from former students and staff, to parents of students, and members of our local community. You all have something in common; an interest in the work of the University and a desire to support it.
Friends also enjoy a range of benefits
Regular monthly or quarterly donations are particularly beneficial to the University as they allow us to plan ahead knowing that funding is in place. By setting up a Standing Order or Direct Debit with your bank, you can make a regular gift to the University of Lincoln for as long as you like.
Donations can be made to the University of Lincoln by cheque, cash, credit card or direct debit. Alternatively you may wish to make a gift of property or resources, such as valuable books or artwork.
Leaving a legacy to the University of Lincoln is a lasting gift to future generations of students. To find out more or to speak to someone about leaving a legacy, please contact us.
Due to our tax exempt status as a registered charity, the University of Lincoln pays no tax on gifts of money or property made to the University during your lifetime or as a legacy.
Make your gift worth even more!
The Gift Aid scheme increases the value of donations made to the University by individuals who pay UK tax. By filling out a simple form, the University can claim back the tax that you have already paid – at no cost to you.
Development Office staff would be delighted to hear from anyone considering making a gift to the University, or seeking further information.
