British Broadcasting Corporation
The School benefits from an Educational Partnership with the BBC which offers our students further access to placements and professional workshops with the Corporation including BBC Sport, BBC Five Live, CBBC etc.
‌National Council for the Training of Journalists
The BA(Hons) Journalism programme is accredited by the National Council for the Training of Journalists. NCTJ accreditation is the hallmark of excellence in journalism training, providing a world-class standard that is recognised throughout the media industry as the best indication that new recruits have the fundamental skills and knowledge to become multi-media journalists and can operate effectively in a busy newsroom.
Chartered Institute of Public Relations
The subject of Public Relations has gained CIPR Recognition for the BA(Hons) Public Relations and the BA(Hons) Journalism and Public Relations programmes. This recognition acknowledges the currency of course content, expertise of teaching staff and the programmes' annual performance.

Magazine journalism offers exciting career options for Lincoln's Journalism students and the BA(Hons) Journalism is accredited by the Professional Publishers Association. Our graduates are working as journalists in a varied range of magazines both in the UK and abroad.

European Journalism Training Association
Journalism is 'Recognised for Excellence' by the European Journalism Training Association (EJTA). We have been accepted for membership of EJTA, joining a prestigious body of journalism centres, schools and universities from more than 20 countries across Europe, with just a handful from the UK.
