Campus Facilities
The University of Lincoln’s state-of-the-art Human Performance Centre provides a Regional Centre of Excellence in Sport, Coaching and Exercise Science. The new fully air conditioned Human Performance Centre, opened by John Inverdale provides excellent facilities to meet the academic needs of the programmes offered, and provide first class sport and exercise support provision. The resources will include;
- Physiology and Biochemistry Laboratory
- Biomechanics and Motor Control Laboratory (incorporating a golf specific analysis area)
- Performance Analysis Suite
- Interview/Consultation Suite
- British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES) accredited staff.
The Centre benefits from experienced staff with expertise in Sport and Exercise Physiology, Sports Biomechanics, Sports Psychology, Coach Education and Sports Nutrition.
Sports Centre
The School of Sport, Coaching and Exercise Science has full access to the University of Lincoln’s Sports and Recreation Centre. Boasting some of the best facilities in the county, if not the country a range of educational and recreational activities are utilised accommodate the needs of both students and staff of the University of Lincoln, providing them with opportunities to participate in fitness classes and many sports based activities.
Library and Learning Provision
Library
and Learning Resources provide an extensive range of
library resources and information technology facilities to
support the student. With the increasing importance attached to
independent learning, your success as a student will to a large
extent depend on your ability to use these facilities
effectively.
