Final Year Undergraduate Conference
Final year undergraduate students from across the department took part in an innovative poster presentation conference over two days in January. The students produced high quality posters on their independent research project providing an academic defence of their question, critiquing key literature, and designing a method to be used to assess the question. The student conference was a celebration of the students work and integrated students from both the first and second year who were asked to critique posters of particular interest, feeding into research modules stimulating curiosity and individual research ideas.

York Study Visit
New York City was the destination of forty undergraduate students and six members of staff on a joint Forensic Science and Sport, Coaching and Exercise Science study visit. This was the inaugural North American study visit for Sport, whilst being the fifth for Forensic Science.

University of Lincoln Sport Bursary Scheme (Sept 07)
The University of Lincoln is committed to raising the standard of University sport and a bursary scheme has been established to support athletes in their pursuit of excellence. The bursary scheme will provide access to funding, alongside sport science support from experts in their field. This will be facilitated through the University's state-of-the-art Human Performance Centre and the impressive on campus sport facilities. The bursary system intend to attract sport performers who will enhance the success of the University.

Gifted & Talented Sports Science Support Scheme (June 07)
The School of Sport, Coaching and Exercise Science has set up partnership with the City of Lincoln School Sports Co-ordinator Partnership to develop sports science support for young athletes identified through their school as being Gifted and Talented within their particular sport.
