Lincoln School of Computer Science

David Cobham

The School is based on the Brayford waterfront campus in Lincoln, in high quality, newly developed facilities.

We are rated in the top third of all computing departments/schools in the country as voted by students themselves. This is a fantastic achievement for a relatively new School, but we are still striving to improve even further!

We have a broad range of expertise in Computing Technologies and Information Systems, including specialisms in robotics and cybernetics, computer vision, social computing, games computing, software engineering, audio and media technologies and business computing. With around 500 students studying our range of undergraduate (BSc), integrated masters (MComp) and postgraduate (MSc, PhD) courses, the School offers an exciting, thriving and expanding environment in which to study.

Our highly-active research centres feature world-leading developments in video surveillance, robotics, medical vision, collaborative software engineering, social computing and pervasive computing gaming, and we have strong links to industrial collaborators. Please follow the links from this page for more details. We look forward to meeting you.
