We are currently undertaking high quality health research in a number of areas at local, national and international levels. A central theme of the research activity within the school is translational research relating to quality improvement in health and social care. We use a range of methods to investigate aspects of the quality of health and social care, to determine how to improve care provision and to evaluate the effects of interventions designed to bring about improvement.
The programme meets all of the professional qualification requirements, enabling students to become registered Social Work practitioners with the GSCC (General Social Care Council).
