I completed my BA (Psychology, Literature and Sociology) from Jyoti Nivas College, Bangalore, India and M.Sc( Clinical Psychology) Montfort College, Bangalore, India.

PhD Title, topic, method and supervisor

My career interests include looking into rectifying behaviour dysfunctions in children and adolescents through psychological assessments and interventions. I wish to use dance as a form of therapy for the physical, emotional and cognitive integration of the individual.

I am presently pursuing Research in this area at the University of Lincoln, under Dr Kirsty Miller's supervision. It's an interdisciplinary field combining Dance with Psychology which are two of my greatest passions. I am a trained Bharat Natyam dancer (Indian Classical dance) and have been pursuing this art form for the past 18 years. Apart from this I also have been trained in Bollywood, contemporary and hip hop dance styles.
