The University of Lincoln offer the opportunity to study for an MSc, PGDip or PGCert in Forensic Psychology and our regular yearly intake commences in September. The course is offered on a full or part time basis – respectively – over one or two years.
The programme is intended for individuals from all disciplines providing healthcare input within secure settings. As such, the course focuses around the theoretical and applied skills necessary to work professionally within secure settings.
This is a 3-year full-time programme, based on the core competencies model described in the current BPS accreditation criteria and leads to a professional qualification in clinical psychology (Doctor of Clinical Psychology - DClinPsy). The course benefits from being a multi-agency collaboration and is well integrated into both universities and the NHS clinical psychology services. Representatives of all partners were responsible for the design and development of the course and all partners input to course committees.
Each research student has an approved programme of research, supported by a programme of research training.
