Pop star Pixie to spread magic at Engine Shed
Pixie Lott One of Britain's most exciting new pop acts will perform in concert at the University of Lincoln's Engine Shed.

Pixie Lott will be on stage at the venue on Brayford Wharf East on Friday 26 November 2010 as part of her first ever headline tour.

Since the release of her first single Mama Do in June 2009, Pixie Lott has received three Brit nominations, sold two million singles, two of them number ones, and had three number one airplay hits. She is nearing one million albums sales globally and is quickly approaching double platinum in the UK.

She released her current single Turn It Up on Monday 7 June having performed it exclusively on Britain's Got Talent the previous week.

Her first ever headline tour, which begins in Glasgow on 24 November, will see her play to more than 40,000 people over the course of four weeks.

Victoria Simpson, Events and Programme Manager at the Engine Shed, said: "The Engine Shed is absolutely thrilled to be able to confirm the first Lincoln performance of Pixie Lott. She is a truly talented artist and follows in the footsteps of Alesha Dixon and Ellie Goulding in confirming a date in the city. We hope their appearances will bring even more pop artists to the venue and the county. Pixie Lott is a superb performer who will pull out all the stops when she plays here."

Tickets go on sale from 10am on Saturday 12 June, priced 23.50. They are available from, 0844 888 87 66, or the Engine Shed and LPAC Box Office, open Monday to Friday from 10am - 4pm, Brayford Wharf East, Lincoln. The event is strictly for people aged 16 and over.
