Visitors at the last UCAS Lincolnshire HE Convention The University of Lincoln's stunning Brayford Pool campus will host the UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service) Lincolnshire Higher Education Convention on Tuesday 15 June 2010.

Thousands of school pupils from across Lincolnshire will visit the campus to get a picture of what higher education has to offer.

Visitors will be able to speak to representatives from top universities about the courses available, the application process and university life. They can take away prospectuses and a wealth of other useful information.

Staff from the University of Lincoln, Bishop Grosseteste University College and Lincoln College will also be there to answer questions from pupils looking to continue their studies closer to home.

Student Finance England, Connexions and UCAS will be offering information and advice on important topics, such as how to apply to university and how to register for financial support.

Representatives from the Armed Forces will also be present to discuss career opportunities.

Karen Raynes, Senior UK Recruitment Officer at the University of Lincoln, said: "Attending an event like this, with everything under one roof, is the perfect start for many students as they begin their research into options after school.  We hope that all visitors will be able to benefit from the advice and guidance that our delegates can offer."
