King’s Singers to give rousing finale to concert series
The King's Singers Celebrated British a capella performers The King’s Singers will bring down the curtain on a series of concerts by some of the world’s finest classical musicians at the Lincoln Performing Arts Centre (LPAC).

The six-strong ensemble will perform Romance du Soir! at the venue on the University of Lincoln’s Brayford campus on Sunday 7 June.

It will be the final event in the LPAC’s International Concert Series 2009 which has brought some of the world’s best classical musicians to Lincoln, including cellist Steven Isserlis, violinist Nicola Benedetti and pianist Paul Lewis.

The King’s Singers have maintained their place at the pinnacle of a cappella singing and are amongst the world’s elite classical performers, delighting audiences around the world with their incomparable musicianship, charm and wit.

Graham Oppenheimer, Artistic Director of the International Concert Series 2009, said: “This is a great opportunity for Lincolnshire audiences. I hope classical music lovers across the region will join me and the many other concert goers for this great occasion which brings this year’s concerts to an end. LPAC and its staff are now bringing the very best to Lincoln and we will shortly launch next year’s outstanding concerts leaflet.”

The King’s Singers concert, Romance du Soir!, will take place at the LPAC on Sunday 7 June. There will be a pre-concert talk at 3.15pm and the performance starts at 4pm.
