Open Day at Lincoln for prospective postgraduates
University Student Crew Member People considering postgraduate study can find out more about the courses on offer at the University of Lincoln.

The University will host a Postgraduate Open Day on Wednesday 20 May at its main Brayford campus, located next to the Brayford Pool in central Lincoln.

The event will give visitors the chance to tour the University’s facilities in a relaxed and informal format, guided by current students who will be happy to talk about studying at Lincoln.

The University offers a broad range of taught postgraduate courses and research-based programmes. Academics from these courses will be on-hand at the Open Day to discuss course content and address any questions from visitors. Information on issues such as financial support will also be available.

Earlier this year the University achieved an excellent result in the Government’s Research Assessment Exercise, when two thirds of the research submitted by the University was judged to have world-leading elements.

More than £130m has been invested in the Brayford campus over the past decade.

Luke Stanbridge, UK Student Recruitment Marketing Manager at the University of Lincoln, said: “In the current economic climate, up-skilling your qualifications can set you aside from the competition, so this is the ideal time to think about postgraduate education. We offer a wide range of postgraduate courses, from taught diplomas through to research-based PhDs, and many of them are available on a part-time basis. Academics and current students will be present at the Postgraduate Open Day to provide information on courses and answer questions. Visitors will also be able to have an in-depth look at our modern facilities and get a feel for the beautiful historic city of Lincoln itself.”

The University of Lincoln’s Postgraduate Open Day will take place on Wednesday 20 May from 2-7pm. For more information, or to book a place at the Open Day, visit, email or phone (01522) 886644.
