Shed Seven to revive Britpop fever at Engine Shed
Shed 7 Britpop heroes Shed Seven will perform at the University of Lincolnís Engine Shed as they embark on a new UK tour.

The five-piece band, who enjoyed a run of fifteen consecutive Top 40 hits from 1994 to 2003 and have an enviable reputation as a live act, will play at the Engine Shed on the University of Lincolnís Brayford campus on Tuesday 8 December 2009.

Shed Seven front man Rick Witter said: ďThe reaction to our reunion tour of 2007 was amazing and after a couple of memorable festival appearances last summer we couldnít resist the urge to play live together again this year. Fans can expect to hear all the singles plus other past favourites that we didnít get the chance to revisit in 2007.Ē

The bandís hit singles include Getting Better, Going for Gold and She Left Me on Friday.

Victoria Simpson, Events and Marketing Manager at the Engine Shed, said: ďThe Engine Shed has a well established Britpop show history and we are thrilled to continue this with Shed Seven confirming a date at the venue on the forthcoming UK Winter Tour. This will be a show few would have thought would come to Lincoln and we are proud to continue to bring in-demand bands and artists like this to the city.Ē
