The Alesha Show comes to the Engine Shed
Alesha Dixon Pop superstar Alesha Dixon will shimmy her way into the Engine Shed on her new UK tour.

The former Mis-Teeq singer and Strictly Come Dancing winner, whose gold-selling solo album, The Alesha Show, is fast approaching platinum, will perform at the venue on the University of Lincoln’s Brayford campus on Saturday 31 October 2009.

Since storming the charts with singles The Boy Does Nothing and Breathe Slow, Alesha has sold over 750,000 records, been a personal guest of Gordon and Sarah Brown at Downing Street and most recently completed an epic climb to the peak of Mt Kilimanjaro, helping raise over £3 million for Comic Relief.

Having supported Latino heartthrob Enrique Iglesias on several dates of his European tour, Alesha is ready to fly solo and for the first time fans will be able to see her perform with a live band exclusively for them on a 17-date UK tour.

Victoria Simpson, Events and Marketing Manager at the Engine Shed, said: “This is a must see show for pop music fans. Alesha is enjoying chart success right across Europe and, with her amazing dancing abilities, there’s no doubt that she’s going to deliver a tremendous live performance here at the Engine Shed.”
