January Open Day at University of Lincoln

The University of Lincoln is inviting those interested in higher education to attend its next open day.

Visitors will be able to take a look around the University’s campuses on Saturday 17 January 2009.

Prospective students, teachers and parents can meet face-to-face with current staff and students and talk about what studying at Lincoln is really like.

Staff and tutors will be providing one-to-one guidance information at stands and there will be in-depth presentations throughout the day about the many courses available.

The open day will give visitors the chance to get an up-close look at the University’s facilities, such as the award-winning Great Central Warehouse Library or the £6m Engine Shed student centre.

Activities will be centred around the University of Lincoln’s main Brayford Pool campus but there will also be the opportunity for visitors to take a tour of the satellite Riseholme and Cathedral campuses.

Luke Stanbridge, UK Student Recruitment Marketing Manager at the University of Lincoln, said: “Our open days are the best way for students, parents and teachers to get a feel for what is special about Lincoln. We often find that once people have seen our fantastic facilities, in this vibrant, historic city, they want to come back to study. People interested in attending the open day can book via our website, or simply turn up on the day.”

The University of Lincoln’s next undergraduate open day will take place on Saturday 17 January 2009, between 9.30am-3pm. For more information call 01522 886644 or visit www.lincoln.ac.uk/opendays.
