Razorlight Engine Shed gig a sell-out success

Razorlight’s forthcoming performance at the University of Lincoln’s Engine Shed has sold out spectacularly.

All tickets had been snapped up within an hour of going on sale at 9am today (Thursday 2 October).

It makes the Razorlight gig one of the fastest sell-outs so far at the venue on the University’s Brayford Pool campus.

Demand for tickets was on a par with the appearances by The Kooks, who performed at the Engine Shed in February this year, and Kings of Leon, who visited Lincoln in 2007.

Razorlight’s gig at the Engine Shed will arrive just a few weeks after the band releases its much-anticipated third album, Slipway Fires.

Victoria Simpson, Events and Marketing Manager at the Engine Shed, said: “Demand for tickets to see Razorlight was always going to exceed supply. Some music fans may have been left disappointed that they were unable to get tickets but they can be reassured that there will be plenty more big names appearing at the Engine Shed in the near future."
