September open day at University of Lincoln

The University of Lincoln is holding an open day for prospective students to learn more about higher education.

The event, which is designed to be a relaxed and informal way of offering information on courses and aspects of university life, will take place on Saturday 27 September.

The central point will be the University’s Brayford campus on Lincoln’s waterfront and there will also be tours of the University’s Riseholme Park and Cathedral campuses.

Visitors will be able to get an up-close look at the University’s halls of residence, as well as new buildings like the Student Centre and the Lincoln Performing Arts Centre (LPAC).

There will be stalls showcasing all courses run by the University. Teaching staff and current undergraduates will be available to answer questions.

There will also be presentations throughout the day on issues like student finance and support.

Andy Kirk, UK Recruitment Officer, said: “The open day is a relaxed environment where people can get a flavour of what life is life here at the University of Lincoln. There will be plenty of staff on hand to answer any questions and opportunities for visitors to take in the sights of our campuses.”

The event runs from 9.30am until 3.30pm and visitors can arrive at any time. You can pre-book or simply turn up on the day. For more information call 01522 886644 or visit the University website at http://www.lincoln.ac.uk/home/opendays/he-index.htm
