TV and book inspire entrepreneurs
The Business Channel is using a book written by the University of Lincoln’s Professor Colin Coulson-Thomas to accompany its four-part series Winning Ways.
The series will feature four modern day entrepreneurs and their approach to business on their way to success. The series is being shown as part of the channel’s ‘inspiration month’ throughout October.
The book compliments the series by offering practical and proven advice on how to be successful. The programmes look at what high performers do differently and whether their success is down to behaviour, chance or luck?
The book Winning Companies: Winning People looks at the differing approaches of winners and losers with ambitions to build successful businesses. It is based on a research programme that studied over 4000 organisations and contains guidance on how to adopt winning behaviours to become a high achiever.
Professor Coulson-Thomas said: “The book is good news for people and organisations who would like to raise their game. Identified winning ways can be quickly adopted. Participants in the research programme boosted performance by embracing and adopting winning approaches”.
Colin Coulson-Thomas is Professor of Direction and Leadership at the University of Lincoln. He has helped over 100 companies improve corporate performance and he has spoken at over 200 national and international corporate events.
