The University of Lincoln is to offer a part-time opportunity for people who want a career in project management.


The university’s Faculty of Business and Law is launching a part-time MSc Project Management course, due to start later this month (January).


The two year course will be available to graduates and those in professional occupations.


Areas that will be covered by the course are resource management, finance, budgeting, risk management, contract management, leadership and team building.


The university will also be recruiting for the full-time version of MSc Project Management course in September 2007.


John McManus, programme leader, said: “Project management is not only a new area of professional and academic study it is an essential competency in many industrial and service sector economies.”


For those who are interested in the course there will be a launch event taking place on Wednesday 24th January at 3.30pm in the EMMTEC foyer, Brayford Campus. The event is free and refreshments will be available.
