LEVELLERS TO HIT ENGINE SHED

 

Internationally known band the Levellers’ are set to play at the University of Lincoln’s Engine Shed on Sunday 20th May.

 

The Levellers previous performances have ranged from Glastonbury to intimate acoustic shows with small audiences.

 

They formed in 1988 and to this day all the original band members remain.

 

Band members are Mark Chadwick (lead vocals and guitar), Simon Friend (vocals, guitar, mandolin, harmonica and banjo), Jon Sevink (violin and kazoo), Jeremy Cunningham (bass and artwork), Charlie Heather (drums) and Matt Savage (keyboards and backing vocals).

 

They are famous for creating pop hits like ‘What a Beautiful Day’ and many well-known anthems such as ‘One Way’ and ‘Just the One’.

 

The Levellers will be performing at the Engine Shed along with support acts.

 

Doors open at 7.00pm and advanced tickets are available from www.ticketline.co.uk priced at £16.50. Tickets can be purchased on the door priced at £18.00 subject to availability.

 

The Engine Shed will be playing host to many more future performances such as Inspiral Carpets, Kings of Leon and The Stone Roses Experience.
