HOLOCAUST REMEMBERED AT UNIVERSITY

The University of Lincoln will be remembering the terror that Jews went through during the war by marking Holocaust Memorial Day.

The university will host ‘Out of the Ashes’ which is a documentary presentation about the Final Solution on Thursday 25th January.

The presentation is part eight of a nine-part series ‘Heritage: Civilization and the Jews’ which was produced in 1984 by WNET in New York.

The university’s chaplain Les Acklam will introduce the presentation and Professor Winston will hold a question and answer session after the film.

The film will start at 7.00pm followed by the question and answer session. It will take place in the ground floor lecture theatre of the EMMTEC building, Brayford Campus.

Everyone is welcome to attend, admission is free and there is no need to book.
