The art work of students from the University of Lincoln is appearing in an exhibition in Philadelphia, USA.

The Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia is displaying the students’ work throughout the month of December.

The exhibition includes drawing, painting, photography and video to represent a wide range of work that students undertake as part of their degree course.

The work being exhibited is from students studying degrees in Fine Art, Illustration and Photography.

This exhibition is the first part of an exchange exhibition. In March/April the University of Lincoln’s Greestone Gallery will be showing the work of students from Tyler School of Art.

The exchange exhibition has been arranged by Open Plan, an organisation formed by students to generate art exhibitions both here in the UK and abroad.

A spokesperson for the university said: “The exchange exhibitions are a great way of getting our students’ work known in the wider world. The exhibition of work varies from fine art to photography and is of a very high standard.”
