IMAGINE DESIGNING FOR DISNEY

Potential students who are interested in 2D and 3D drawing are invited to attend a masterclass with Imagination’s Kenny Holmes.

The masterclass will take place at the University of Lincoln on Thursday 30th November and Friday 1st December.

The masterclass aims to show current and potential students of the Design for Exhibition and Museums course the kind of work they could be doing once they have graduated from university.

Imagination was founded in 1978 and is now one of the world’s largest design and communications consultancies.

Imagination has designed some of the world’s most popular design experiences, including, the Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Paris, the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin, the Tate Modern launch, the Talk Exhibition at the Millennium Dome and the Dinosaurs Exhibition at the Natural History Museum.

The BA (Hons) Design for Exhibition and Museums is an exciting and colourful course, which specialises in the design of 3D communicative environments that 'tell a story'.

Graduates of the course have gone onto work for places like Madame Tussauds, Disney and The Deep in Hull.

Pam Locker, programme leader, said: “It will be wonderful to have the benefit of a visit from such a well known international company. This is a great opportunity for students and potential students who have an interest in creating environments that tell a story.”

Those who are interested in the masterclass should contact Pam Locker on 01522837134 or email plocker@lincoln.ac.uk
