BEST PAPER PRIZE FOR UNIVERSITY PROFESSOR

Professor David Rae of the Lincoln Business School has been awarded the Best Paper Prize at the 36th Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Small Business (EISB) Conference held in Southampton earlier this month.

 

Dr Rae’s paper, entitled The Role of an Entrepreneurial Learning Team in Creating an Enterprise Culture in a University was co-authored with Simon Gee and Rob Moon from the University of Derby.

 

The prize-winning paper summarises the work the three did in introducing entrepreneurship education at Derby between 2001 and 2006.

 

The prize, awarded by the European Foundation for Management Development is the fifth consecutive research conference Best Paper accolade to be awarded to Dr Rae, who moved to the University of Lincoln in 2006.
