Around 260 students will graduate from the University of Lincoln at the Kingston Communications Stadium next week.

The university’s Hull graduation ceremonies will take place in the Kingston Suite at 11am and 2.30pm on Wednesday 6th September.

The students will be collecting their degrees in subjects ranging from art and design and technology to health and social care.

Also attending the ceremonies will be two people who have made outstanding contributions to education in the city.

John Buttrick, founder of the Hull Children’s University, will receive an honorary Doctorate of Art at the afternoon ceremony while Elaine McMahon, Principal and Chief Executive of Hull College, will receive an honorary Doctorate of Letters at the morning ceremony.

Our awards ceremonies are the highlight of the academic year and everyone at the university is looking forward to celebrating the achievements of our students,” said university spokesman Jez Ashberry.

Note: Two success stories, two further press releases about our honorary doctorates and a complete list of graduating students are available from the University of Lincoln press office.
