A business workshop to be hosted by the University of Lincoln on Thursday (23rd February) will give people the chance to find out what’s it’s like to invest in a good business idea.


The Enterprise Workshop organised by Connect Midlands aims to give delegates

the inside track on raising money for a new business.


Delegates will hear from a real investor and find out what he is looking for, stand in an investor's shoes and hear three real business proposals, consider the pros and cons of each opportunity and decide where to invest and why.


“If you are interested in developing your knowledge, skills, business knowhow and networks then this workshop is for you,” said organiser John Mulhall, lecturer and Knowledge Transfer Partnership co-ordinator in the Faculty of Health, Life and Social Sciences at the University of Lincoln.


The event begins at 4.30pm on Thursday 23rd February with registration in the Alstom Atrium in the main academic building at the university’s Brayford Pool campus.


Proceedings get under way in the Vice Chancellor’s Annexe at 5.15pm and there will be a buffet and networking opportunity back in the Alstom Atrium at 7pm.
