CELEBRITY SNAPPER TO PRESENT PHOTOGRAPHY PRIZE

Other prizes to be presented at the ceremony include: the BBC Radio Lincolnshire Prize for Performance in Radio Journalism (Sarah Bland), the LEAP Prize for Outstanding Achievement in Journalism (Katie Ashmore) and the Mortons Prize for the Best Design / New Media Student in Journalism (Helen Purves).
At a second event at 4.30pm at Chad Varah House the following prizes will be awarded to students from the Faculty of Media and Humanities: the Faculty Prize for the Best Performance in English (Pauline Sinclair), the International Journal of Regional & Local Studies Prize for Academic Achievement in History (Dean Smith) and the International Journal of Regional & Local Studies Publishing History prize for Outstanding Contribution to the Course (Jonathan Scholey).
Other winners include the Faculty Prize for the Best Independent Study in the Department of Media Production (Bryony Freeman), the Quadrant Visual Solutions Award for the Best Radio Student (Matthew Marshall), the Corus Videolink Prize for the Best Video Production Student (Andrew Deptford); the Sony Broadcast and Professional Prize for the Best Television Studio Student (Michael Mann) and the Fosters and Sons Prize for the Best Photography Student (Kristina Kemp).
