Around 1,800 students will graduate from the University of Lincoln at five awards ceremonies at Lincoln Cathedral next week.


Ceremonies will take place on Monday evening, Tuesday morning and evening and Wednesday morning and evening as follows:


Monday 12th September 2005 (7.30pm)

Faculty of Health, Life & Social Sciences


Tuesday 13th September 2005 (11.30am)

Faculty of Technology, some Faculty of Business and Law

Wednesday 14th September 2005 (11.30am)

Faculty of Art, Architecture & Design, some Faculty of Media & Humanities


Wednesday 14th September 2004 (7.30pm) Lincoln

As well as presenting diplomas and degrees to the graduating students the university will also honour six people in recognition of their services to the university or to their profession.


War photographer Don McCullin CBE, Kelvin Bray CBE, Deputy Chairman of the Governors at the university, senior NHS executive Janet Soo-Chung, university Pro Chancellor Nevile Camamile, media expert and former MEP Carole Tongue and eminent retired veterinary surgeon Roger Ewbank will all receive honorary doctorates.


The ceremonies will be led by the university’s Chancellor, Dame Elizabeth Esteve-Coll.
