Four days of free events will be staged next week at the University of Lincoln and at other venues in Hull to celebrate early years, play and children’s services in the city.


The Hull School of Health and Social Care on George Street will host the celebration, which begins on Thursday 16th June and ends on Sunday 19th June.


Among the events will be the launch of the Sure Start vision and strategy for children under five in Hull, free family fun events and an early years conference to launch the Hull Play Policy.

The events have been organised by a partnership of organisations including the University of Lincoln, Sure Start, Kingston-upon-Hull City Council, Hull Creative Play Network, Kingston-upon-Hull Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership, Hull College and the Children’s Information Service.
