Around 160 students from the Lincolnshire School of Agriculture will receive certificates and awards at an annual prize-giving ceremony tomorrow (Friday).


The students, who have all completed University of Lincoln further education courses at Riseholme Park, will gather at the Lincolnshire Showground at 2pm tomorrow for the ceremony.


Presenting the prizes will be Mrs Janet Godfrey, Chair of the Lincolnshire Forum for Agriculture and Horticulture.


Among the other VIP guests will be Lincolnís new mayor, Councillor Adelle Ellis, Mrs Bridget Cracroft-Eley, Lord Lieutenant of Lincolnshire, and Mr Michael Peacock,

President of the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society.


The students have all completed courses in subjects ranging from Horse Care and Animal Management to Garden Design and Horticulture.


The university awards certificates to all students who complete the course and special prizes are also given to the best-performing students.
