A media company run by graduates from the University of Lincoln has launched its new web site.

Hotwire Media, based at Sparkhouse Studios on the Ropewalk in Lincoln, has redesigned its site to ensure that its users are more informed of the processes involved in video production.

The new web site now gives potential clients an in-depth understanding of the creative processes involved in producing a promotional video as well as providing examples of the company’s previous work in the new online video samples and showreel sections.

The Hotwire team have already worked with a wide variety of clients since their establishment in 2003, including the City of Lincoln Council, Dosco Overseas Engineering, Suffolk West NHS, SureStart and Suffolk County Council.

The company also recently produced a two-minute promotional DVD for the University of Lincoln which is available to view on the company’s web site along with examples of work commissioned for their clients.

Hotwire was set up by Media Production graduates Lucy Craymer, Robin Hennessy and Darius Laws and hopes to grow in capacity to serve the East Midlands region.

“Our new web site explains the benefits of utilising digital video and shows examples of our work with videos hosted online,” said Lucy.

Each digital video product is different but to illustrate some of the costs involved potential clients can log onto our new web site and use a budget calculator to see how cost effective digital video can be.”
