A new art exhibition displaying work produced by 22 members of the teaching and support staff at the University of Lincoln’s Faculty of Art, Architecture and Design starts today.

The show entitled ‘Here and There’ will run until Friday 18th March in the Greestone Gallery of the Greestone Building on Lindum Road between 10am and 5pm weekdays.

“The exhibition aims to provide an interesting overview of the diversity of creative practice that exists within the faculty. The quality of the work exhibited is clearly indicative of the expertise and experience that is available to students studying art and design related courses at the university,” said a spokesperson.

The range of work on show includes drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, print, design, jewellery and furniture and reflects the range of courses offered within the faculty.

“This exhibition will be a great opportunity for students to see work produced by academics and technicians within the faculty,” said John Plowman, the exhibition’s curator and senior lecturer at the university’s Cathedral Campus.

“It will serve to reflect the quality of expertise within the Faculty of Art, Architecture and Design.”

The show is open to students and staff at the university only. For more information contact John Plowman on jplowman@lincoln.ac.uk or Paul Edwards on paedwards@lincoln.ac.uk.
