Two marketing officers at the University of Lincoln will be joining in the fun at this yearís Waterfront Festival.


Jacqueline Mayer (33) and Karen Raynes (34) have organised a traditional style fete at the festival to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.


Both will be in the University of Lincolnís atrium in the main academic building during the two-day event.


Children of all ages can join in the fun with name the teddy, guess the number of sweets and a lucky dip.


And thereís fun for the big kids too with the Mercedes Smart Car balloon challenge.

The pair will take part in Ultimate Challenge 2004 Trek Peru, a five-day trek along the ancient Inca Trail, in September.


But before they can embark on their trip the two women have to raise £6,000 for the cancer research charity.
