Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum! Itís a pirateís life for Media Production students at the University of Lincoln.


A pirate musical radio production featuring Cutlass Jack is just one of the attractions at this yearís end-of-year Media Production degree show.


Final-year students will demonstrate three years of their degree work, including short dramas and documentaries, image and photography, new media animations and radio features, in the show next week (Wednesday and Thursday).


Visitors to the show can expect to see a video about the history of the Sinclair C5, an experimental soundscape based on dreaming and breathing, a time travel through TV advertisements aimed at women and much more.


The show will take place between 2pm and 9pm on Wednesday 26th May and Thursday 27th May at the universityís Jackson, Cargill and Co-op lecture theatres, Brayford campus.


There will also be a bar reception at 6pm on Thursday 27th May.All are welcome to attend.

A group of Media Production students will also get to see their work on the big screen in a special showing of their video and film projects at the Odeon cinema in Lincoln at 11am on Monday 24th May 2004.
